Submission Preparation Checklist

For regular submissions to the journal, authors must ensure their manuscript meets all the listed requirements. Manuscripts that do not follow the guidelines may be sent back.

1. The manuscript has not been previously published, nor is it being submitted to other journals.
2. The submission file is in Microsoft Word document format and should be submitted via the following link: https://jossh.ussh.edu.vn/index.php/JOSSH/about/submissions
3. Where available, URLs for the references need to be provided.
4. The text is single-spaced and uses a 13-point font. All illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate locations.
5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
6. When the manuscript is submitted to go through the peer-review process, the instructions in ensuring a blinded manuscript must be followed.

For submissions to the journal related to special topics, the submission and evaluation process is as follows:

Step 1: Preliminary Authors first submit an abstract with a publication idea, which should not exceed one A4 page. This preliminary enquiry is evaluated by the guest editors (for part 1 of the issue with regard to the specific subject areas) or the editorial board (for parts 2 and 3).

Step 2: In a second step, authors of abstracts may be asked to send the guest editors or the editorial board complete articles that do not yet have to comply exactly with the style sheet specifications explained below. These versions of the articles will then be peer-reviewed in accordance with the principles outlined below.

Step 3: If this review is positive, the authors will be asked to make any necessary changes to the text and, in particular, to revise the article in accordance with the journal's style sheet.

Step 4: These articles will then be reviewed again by the permanent editorial board for formal aspects and approved for publication.
